Takara Tomy Transformers Takara Masterpiece Collection MP-07 Thundercracker

The Takara Tomy Masterpiece Thundercracker is a replica of the McDonnell Douglas F-15E air superiority fighter used by the USAF, meant to closely resemble the 1984 version of Thundercracker from the Transformers animated series. In aircraft mode, the model is approximately 13 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches tall. The level of detail put into the aircraft model is surprising, with nearly all of the aircraft panels visible. The model also has some of the details the actual aircraft has, to include a radome that swings open to reveal the radar array, opening cockpit with seat and pilot, a movable speed brake, and movable flaps and ailerons. The upper engine panels also open to show the engine detail. On the underside of the model, the landing gear open to allow the plane to rest on them, and there are detachable missile pods that mount on the underside of the wings.
